A photography project to amplify the lived experience of families enduring destitution in the UK, and to highlight the UK government policies responsible.

The photographer, Les Monaghan, 'Dave', 'Niamh and 'Aidan', 'Yvette' and 'Levi' and Natasha and Dan and her family. Over six months I worked with these families to produce works that situated government policies within their homes and lives. The results formed an exhibit that toured Doncaster Libraries, and popped up at colleges, community centres, conferences, galleries, other libraries, schools, and other public venues. A pamphlet was produced in time for the 2017 election as well as a legacy website.
