As an African member of the diaspora, it is evident to me that our stories are visible in all regions of the globe and I am constantly reminded of the importance of the awareness of self. A vital key in the development of the psyche of any individual. I am an observer and analytical thinker interested in the intersection between social inclusions and different mediums of creative and artistic expression. The intersection in this case, represents any area that is located between one or more functions of society and the act of benefiting from producing creative works by using our own personal experiences, allowing us to heal and learn from them. It is an accurate depiction of coexistence; a space utilised by people in varying walks of life.
