3200 porcelain hand made round discs, each representing one homeless person in the UK.

According to research from Shelter there were 32000 homeless individuals in the UK in 2018.

I've been working with members of homeless charity for over two years. My aim was to represent people as individual and not numbers.

The work is made from porcelain, that is both strong and fragile: homelessness can happen to anyone.

People were really interested as work was large in scale, tactile and engaging. There was this ‘oh’ element after reading what the work was about that lower the mood in the room.
